MLK Youth Day 1/13/24 | 12pm–3pm | Resource Center for Nonviolence

MLK Youth Day is an opportunity for student leaders and organizations from local schools to inform the community about their mission and accomplishments. The desire to provide young people a platform to showcase and share what they are doing in regards to student activism. The day will also include music, dancing, and opportunities for community engagement and networking. Youth Day will be held Sat., Jan. 13 at the Resource Center for Nonviolence, 612 Ocean St., Santa Cruz, beginning at 12 noon and ending at 3 pm.

MLK March for the Dream 1/15/23 | 10am | Cathcart and Pacific in Downtown Santa Cruz | Post-March Event at SC Civic

MLK, Jr., March for the Dream has become a powerful tradition, symbolizing the ongoing pursuit of justice, equality, and civil rights for all in Santa Cruz County. The March will begin at 10 am on Monday, January 15, at Pacific Ave. and Cathcart Streets, Santa Cruz and will culminate in a program at the Civic Auditorium 11 am – 12 noon.
